Life is too short to blend in. I have always considered the act of dressing well an art of self-expression, a boost in self-esteem, a hobby. I have found it to be true for both myself and others, that when dressing with confidence, good things only follow.
Although I have a strong passion for clothes shopping, it is the way they make me feel that is the most rewarding. A good outfit might be just the confidence boost you need to take on the day. And when you feel great in what you are wearing, a sidewalk feels more like a catwalk!
I began personal shopping for family and friends when I was in high school. Now, after encouragement to do it professionally, I have begun a new chapter in my life.
Barcelona - San Diego
I was born and raised in Barcelona until I moved to California to pursue my dreams in fashion and interior design.
Two years ago I moved into a flat-roof Spanish house by the beach with my husband, who I adore.
I am a stylist and an interior designer based in Coronado, California. I offer full service interior design and decorating, in-home and e-styling interior solutions.
My Dressing Approach
Since you might be considering letting me into the depths of your closet, let me tell you a little bit about my own.
There are different ways to approach how to create an outfit in the morning and over time, you find yourself using the same process. I like to call mine modular dressing.
Most of the items in my wardrobe share similar shades, textures. Although some combinations work better than others, the beauty of modular dressing is that I am able to mix and match most of the pieces. To complete the final look, I accessorize and add further layers with color and pattern in the form of scarves, jewelry, purses and so on.
Since most of my clothes share a similar minimal style in neutral tones, they can be styled to look sexy, casual or sophisticated. It's a little bit of money for a lot of look. It's efficient.
It's a minimal approach that works with my personality, my lifestyle and allows me to make the most of my wardrobe.
